Hybrid Cloud

Hybrid Identity

Simplify and Backup Credential Problem

In this digital age, our business is really depending on technology that we use. We build system to help us run the business, so we can do the work easily. But also, we need to consider about the authority for our system and we need to define who can use the system. Therefore, every system in a company need to use identity authentication before the employee use the system by sign in using username and password that registered in the system. This will help to protect our company from any thread to our system, especially protect our data from people that have no rights for our company data.

Also, we usually have some system to help our work and we need to do authentication every time we want to use those system. Let say we have Payment System, Commission System, Customer Database System, and so many other systems that help our work. Our employee will feel hassle if they have to memorize different username and password for every different system, those aren't counted their other account that they use for their work like cloud storage and so on.

Hybrid Identity help our employee in authentication matter. Here's some benefits using hybrid identity:

  1. Simplify: every employee can do the authentication using only 1 username and password for every system and even application in cloud. It's possible because the Active Directory is located on-premises and on cloud as it's backup. Every time company get a new employee, they don't need to create so many identities for the employee and only need to create 1 identity for every system in the company.
  2. Backup the on-premises Identity: The other benefits using hybrid cloud is when our Active Directory that runs on-premises got error and cannot be accessed, the Active Directory still accessible as long as the employee connected using internet because the Active Directory in cloud become backup for the on-premises one. It will let our employee do their job without interference when the system engineers try to fix the active directory that run on-premises.
