The three new platforms offer the best-in-class performance, scalability, availability, and efficiency for companies in need of an 24×7 IT service to support their business. For instance, companies in the manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, and public sectors.
Deddy Sudja, President Director of Helios, stated that in the always-on era like today, downtime, service outages, and slow responses mean losses. Based on research conducted by Forrester Inc, power outages are the main cause of downtime problems in IT systems.
Other than that, hardware, network, and software failures are also one of the main triggers of IT system downtime. These triggers can result in lengthy data recovery, loss of work productivity, business opportunities, customer trust, and even be a damage to companies reputation.

Meanwhile, the HP Converged System 500 SAP HANA is an all-in-one system with in-memory computing technology to accelerate data access in real-time. Earlier, Blue Power Technology (BPT), a CTI Group company that provides information technology (IT) solutions and services, expanded its network and security business through a partnership with BlueCat Networks, a provider of network management solutions for the enterprise market.

Lugas M Satrio, President Director of BPT, said that through this collaboration the company will act as a value-added distributor for BlueCat solutions, namely DNS, DHCP and IP-Address Management solutions (or also known as DDI solutions). This product is available for enterprise-level businesses.

“As more devices connect to the corporate network, the number of managed IP addresses grows, and an average employee now needs at least three IP addresses,” he said. Traditional network management is regarded as impossible for enterprises with thousands of employees.
“Dengan semakin banyaknya perangkat yang terkoneksi dengan jaringan perusahaan, jumlah IP address yang dikelola pun semakin besar di mana saat ini rata-rata satu karyawan membutuhkan paling tidak tiga IP address,” kata dia. Untuk kelas enterprise dengan jumlah ribuan karyawan, pengelolaan jaringan secara tradisional dinilai sudah tidak memungkinkan.
BPT predicts double-digit revenue growth this year. However, BPT generated close to US$ 60 million in income last year.
Pada tahun ini BPT menargetkan pertumbuhan pendapatan double digit. Sementara di tahun lalu, BPT meraih pendapatan hingga US$ 60 juta.
Gartner Inc, a worldwide research agency, had anticipated that using DDI solutions could cut company operational expenses for network management by up to 50%. This solution can also improve service delivery and productivity for businesses with more than 50 thousand IP addresses.

The global DDI market is expected to generate $400-450 million in sales by 2017, with a 10% growth rate through 2017. Being a developing country, Indonesia is expected to see developments in IoT technology and an increase in the use of IP addresses.

Windows 10
Microsoft Corp released its updated Windows 10 operating system on July 29 as a product of cooperation between Microsoft and its users. Microsoft Indonesia, the company’s representative, is currently educating people about the ease and benefits of the newest operating system.
Lucky Gani, Windows Business Group Lead of Microsoft Indonesia, said that before launching this operating system, Microsoft used the Windows Insider program to build Windows 10 operating system. There were five million user feedbacks from 100 participating countries for personal computers (PCs).
“With this interaction, we hope that Windows 10 will be a platform that is wanted, preferred, and loved by users,” he said recently in Bandung.
Windows 10 comes with features that are familiar to users, the design and functionality of the classic Windows Start button. This operating system also contains desktop application innovations like Cortana, the new Microsoft Edge browser, Xbox App, and the Office Universal App.
Windows 10 is also the first Microsoft operating system that supports multi-platform for mobile devices and PCs. It also supports the Xbox game console and a virtual reality device called HoloLens.
Microsoft Indonesia expects that many Windows 7 and Windows 8 customers will upgrade to Windows 10 this year. As a result, Microsoft is collaborating with a number of distributors and manufacturers to bring this expectation into reality.
