Helios and Samsung to Strengthen Enterprise Solutions

JAKARTA. Information technology infrastructure solution provider company, Helios Informatika Nusantara, collaborates with Samsung to offer mobility enterprise solutions. The collaboration is based on the growing necessities of mobility technology, not only for individual consumption but also for company needs.

Mobility is now a trend among enterprises who continue to develop mobile applications according to company needs. Mobility solutions are believed to improve business performance in terms of productivity, communication, or knowledge exchange. However, company data security is also a challenge to be faced in business.

Businesses then require enterprise mobility solutions that are not only easy to manage and can be customized according to needs, but also secure. “Mobile workforce has become a strategy in many companies nowadays. Nonetheless, there are still many who are hampered by data security factors,” said Deddy Sudja, the President Director of Helios in an official statement, Thursday (23/2).

Through a collaboration with Samsung, Helios offers smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, and an enterprise mobility management solution namely Samsung Knox. This device provides an integrated security system from app level to hardware.

Knox creates an employee app as if divided into two separate containers, which are as a personal device and as a working device. Knox also has a manageability function that allows thousands of device management according to policies set by companies. “The presence of this app will maximize employee productivity and protect their privacy,” explained Deddy.

Roy Nugroho, IT and Mobile B2B Group Head of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, stated that together with Helios, Samsung Knox has obtained certification from government agencies in the United States, England, Finland, and Australia. As data security management, Samsung Knox becomes a corporate customer solution in various sectors, such as financial, automotive, transportation, and education. “We present it to companies and the government,” he said in the same statement.

Realizing the variety of mobility needs from each company, Helios collaborates with mobile application developers to provide mobility solutions. Companies could choose and customize Knox solutions according to their needs. Helios will also provide support in the form of experienced certified engineers in the field of mobility technology, Technology Center facility, and resources in the field of sales and marketing.
