Helios Markets 16-Socket Servers for Corporations

JAKARTA. PT Helios Informatika Nusantara, a subsidiary of PT Computrade Technology Indonesia (CTI) Group, a company distributor of IT devices, adds its computation portfolio to Hewlett-Packard (HP)’s latest product distribution, which includes a 16-socket server.

 

According to Forrester Inc. research, a lack of swiftness in data recovery may result in company losses. By launching these platforms, Helios guaranteed swiftness and accuracy in data recovery and operation.

 

These three HP platforms offered by Helios are aimed at companies in the enterprise market that require telecommunication and information services for 24 hours, such as manufacturing, financial services, and the public sector.

 

The three platforms are HP Integrity Superdome X, HP 3PAR storage, and HP Converged System 500 for SAP. HP Integrity Superdome X is the only 16-socket x86 system-based server that is capable of breaking the performance barrier of 1 million jAppServer Operations Per Second (jOPS) and could maximize Big Data accommodation. The said HP platforms are set to be marketed as a bundle with technical support from Helios.

 

Richard Burhan Dharma, IT Manager of Delamibrands, stated HP products, as well as Helios products and solutions, were the reason behind their swift data compliance and increasing business performance.

 

“In the always-on (always connected) era like today, downtime, service outages, and slow responses mean losses,” he stated on Thursday (13/8).

 

Director of Helios, Royani Lo, adds that the all-in-one system in this platform is capable of accelerating data access in real-time with its all-flash storage and auto-error checking facility. He stated that Helios services in this platform’s offerings include technical support and HP spare parts that are obtainable within six hours.

 

Delamibrands, best known for its fashion retail brands The Executive, Wood, and Wrangler, was one of the organizations that decided to try Helios’s latest IT infrastructure. By January 1st, 2016, Delamibrands will begin using Helios products and services.

 

The IT General Manager of Delamibrands, Sujanto Kosasih, stated that this platform usage will improve his company’s customer experience in the future.

 

He said that through this integrated branch or outlet system, his company can be aware of goods availability in real-time. “Customers will know which outlet to go to get the products they were looking for and we will never be overstocked,” he added.

 

Unfortunately, when asked about the amount of money to spend for this superb platform, Sujanto did not state exact numbers. “Helios offers the best price, no doubt about that,” he remarked.

 

Helios launched a branch in Surabaya in the first quarter of 2015 and became the official Lexmark distributor. Helios also expanded its business portfolio in the second quarter of 2015 by becoming an Aruba Networks distributor, providing products for wireless networks.

 

These excellent efforts were implemented to accomplish the IDR 2 trillion target set by CTI group for 2015. Currently, Helios has contributed 10-15% of company income for CTI Group.
