Warta Ekonomi,Jakarta – Helios Informatika Nusantara, a provider of IT infrastructure solutions and a subsidiary of the CTI Group, organized a seminar and exhibition in the field of IT named “Helios Mobility Day” at the Hotel Grand Hyatt Jakarta on Wednesday (6/9/2017), hosting the theme of Maximizing Mobility to Accelerate Growth in order to discuss innovation and adoption of the latest mobility technologies to increase productivity and business growth in the era of digital transformation today.
Helios Mobility Day not only showcases a variety of mobility solutions for enterprise levels, but also a selection of the most recent mobile applications created by independent software developers (ISVs) that can be utilized in a variety of industries. The event brought together hundreds of IT stakeholders, including corporate leaders from various industries in Indonesia, including finance, banking, retail, and transportation.
Founder of the Rumah Perubahan, Rhenald Kasali, as keynote speaker, discussed the era of disruption driven by the presence of digital technologies that caused a radical change toward traditional business models that are considered no longer relevant to meet today’s consumer needs and the role of mobility technologies in it.
Deddy Sudja, President of Helios Informatika Nusantara, stated on the same occasion that today’s enterprise mobility technology is more than just how businesses use mobile devices to accommodate BYOD trends. However, even greater advantages include increasing the efficiency of business processes, assisting decision-making processes in the office and in the field, and ensuring accurate and real-time information collection and delivery.
“But behind these benefits, mobile technology-based activities pose a variety of challenges for companies, including security, cost, and management complexity amid the rapid change of technology,” Deddy explained.
Furthermore, at the Helios Mobility Day event, business professionals can learn from expert speakers how to determine the best, most effective, simple, and safe mobility strategy for all users.
According to IDC’s survey of 1,350 organizations worldwide, the desire to improve customer experience is the primary driver of company adoption of mobility strategies, followed by the desire to increase employee productivity, facilitate collaboration, and create new revenue streams. IDC also stated that enterprise mobility implementation in Asia-Pacific companies has reached maturity as the role of mobility technology shifts from merely device-centric to business and digital workspace drivers.
