Helios Presents 3 Reliable Solutions for 24/7 IT Company Service

 

Merdeka.com – IT infrastructure solution provider and a subsidiary of CTI Group, Helios Informatika Nusantara, recently introduced its 3 brand new computing platforms designed for companies that require IT services for 7 days a week.

“In this always-on era, downtime, service outages, and slow responses are recognized as a huge loss,” Deddy Sudja said, President Director of Helios during a press gathering at Pulau Macan, Kepulauan Seribu, Thursday (13/8).

According to Dedi, Helios is expanding its offers on mission-critical solutions from HP and is equipped with technical support for companies in Indonesia to elevate their business performance in handling the ever growing large scale workloads.

Dedi added that according to Forrester Inc. in 2013, the most common causes of downtime in an organization’s IT system were power outages (43%), followed by hardware failure (31%), network (16%), and software (15%). The losses occurred due to the lack of swiftness in data recovery resulting in loss of work productivity (72%), business opportunities (37%), income (35%), customer trust (33%), and even caused damage to company reputation (26%).

“This occurs due to businesses requiring a lengthy time to restore data from the system that their services rely on. On the other hand, human error (44%), both in terms of technology and business, is the primary cause of downtime, according to Information Technology Intelligence Consulting (ITIC),” he noted.

The HP Integrity Superdome X has the highest performance based on the SPECjbb test, making it the only server with 16-socket and x86 based system that exceeds 1 million jAppServer Operations Per Second (jOPS)3 milestone.

HP Integrity Superdome X is capable of providing high reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) when running on mission-critical workloads. It is also great at delivering excellent big data accommodation through its big memory capacity.

To further realize real-time capabilities, Helios is also exclusively distributing the HP Converged System 500 SAP HANA, an all-in-one system armed with in-memory computing technology that supports real-time data access acceleration.

Aside from high availability and performance, it’s also impossible to implement mission-critical without highly capable storage. HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage is the most up to date all-flash storage system with a 99.9999% guaranteed availability, automatic and proactive error checking functionality, and software feature that delivers seamless failover/failback when downtime occurs.
