JAKARTA – Helios Informatika Nusantara (HIN) announces its readiness to support Mobile Engagement and ClearPass solutions adoption from Aruba Networks, a wireless network provider and mobility solution for enterprises, in Indonesia.
HIN is a subsidiary of CTI Group which becomes a value-added distributor that focuses on IT infrastructure solutions. Next, HIN will strengthen cooperation with its business partners, which are integrator systems and software developers, to answer the challenges from organizations and companies in Indonesia in facing the era of mobility and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) that is growing rapidly.
Royani Lo, the Director of HIN, said that in the current mobility era, the penetration of mobile device and internet service usage in the country experiences a significant increase of 52 million smartphone users and 88.1 million internet service users.
“It is supposed to bring an opportunity for public venue management to improve engagement and services for visitors who are connected to their Wi-Fi networks. Unfortunately, companies have yet to take advantage of the opportunity to improve customer experience and only keep giving general information,” told Royani Lo in a press conference, Monday (21/9).
Royani said that to be able to compete in the era of mobility, public venue providers, from stadiums to retails, require Wi-Fi solutions that could leverage user, device, location, and other contextual data to engage with visitors in a more personal and relevant way, increasing brand loyalty, revenue, and user experience.
The need is then answered by Aruba Mobile Engagement (AME), a solution that could personalize customer experience according to the user’s identity and location. AME combines software and hardware in the form of navigation, Wi-Fi, internet access, and indoor venue apps so that public venues can insert modified services in the form of messages and promotions to customers’ mobile devices.
This solution is equipped with a Meridian platform to gather location-based information from visitors and Aruba Beacon that could detect visitors’ location and become a direction pointer for visitors during their venue visit. The increase in the number of mobile devices is the main growth driver for the BYOD market with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 25.32% from 2014 to 2019. (rz)
