Helios Informatika Nusantara, a value-added distributor that focuses on IT infrastructure solution and a subsidiary of CTI Group, today (21/9) announced its readiness to support Mobile Engagement and ClearPass solutions adoption from Aruba Networks, wireless network provider and mobility solution for enterprise in Indonesia. Next, Helios will strengthen cooperation with its business partners, which are integrator systems and software developers, to answer the challenge from organizations and companies in Indonesia in facing the era of mobility and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) that is growing rapidly.
“In the current era of mobility, the penetration of mobile device and internet service usage in the country experiences a significant increase of 52 million smartphone users and 88.1 million internet service users. It is supposed to bring an opportunity for public venue management to improve engagement and services for visitors who are connected to their Wi-Fi network. Unfortunately, companies have yet to take advantage of the opportunity to improve customer experience and only keep giving general information,” said the Director of Helios Informatika Nusantara, Royani Lo.

Royani noted that to be able to compete in the era of mobility, public venue providers, from stadiums to retails, require Wi-Fi solutions that could leverage user, device, location, and other contextual data to engage with visitors in a more personal and relevant way, increasing brand loyalty, revenue, and user experience.
Aruba Mobile Engagement (AME) combines software and hardware in the form of navigation, Wi-Fi, internet access, and indoor venue apps so that public venues could insert modified services in the form of messages and promotions to customers’ mobile devices. This solution is equipped with a Meridian platform to gather location-based information from visitors and Aruba Beacon that could detect visitors’ location and become a direction pointer for visitors during their venue visit.
Aruba understood the challenge faced by organizations as they try to implement tight yet flexible access solutions in handling the BYOD trend through ClearPass Access Management System solution. ClearPass lends a hand for organizations on access setting and termination to all mobile devices as well as make it easy for users to access Wi-Fi through self-service.
“We are optimistic that the advantages that Aruba has, combined with Helios’ technical team, could aid business partners in designing mobile engagement and BYOD solutions for corporate customers. This collaboration will also open up opportunities for developers in developing Meridian platform-based mobile apps,” Royani added.
